This program will help the Indian startups to market, and distribute their products to millions of Amazon customers across India and around the world through a dedicated store. Starting from today, the store is already online and features over 400 products starting with smartwatches, smart homes, health, educational toys and more.

The company has tied up with Startup India, NASSCOM 10,000 Startups and Indian Angel Network (IAN), amongst others, to help identify and enroll the startups. Additionally, it has also roped in a few strategic partners such as NITI Aayog, Government of Maharashtra, Government of Telangana and TiE.

Amit Agarwal, VP and Country Head, Amazon India said, “We hope that Amazon Launchpad has a positive impact on the economy by further promoting Make in India, adding further impetus to the current interest in Indian Startups and also creating additional employment opportunities.”

In order to enroll, the startups need to apply for Launchpad on its Amazon website. To register, the company needs to provide complete details of its products.
