A new Motorola device has been spotted on benchmarking website, GeekBench. The device with model number XT 1650 is codenamed “Sheridan” in the listing. The device seems to be the next version of Moto X keeping in mind that Moto X Pure Edition was unveiled last year with model number XT-1575. The single-core GeekBench score was 2309 and muli-core score of 5344.
As per the listing the purported Moto X (2016) is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Adreno 530 GPU. The handset is based on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow version and has 4 GB RAM. The benchmarking website does not reveal anything apart from this.
As per various rumors, Moto X (2016) is expected to be officially announced during an event on June 9, which comes after the Google I/O event in May.
