At the ongoing CES event in Las Vegas, TCLCommunication has announcedan exclusive partnership with Flipkart to bring new Alcatel devices to India.
The partnership agreement was signed with Alcatel’s parent company TCL Communication. Alcatel stated that the partnership with Flipkart will strengthen its brand’s position in India. The partnership will make Flipkart an exclusive sales partner for large screen devices in the region.
Christian Gatti, Global President Alcatel Business Division and Executive Vice President, TCL Communication said “In 2018 we’re focussing on not only evolving our Alcatel smartphone portfolio, but are also looking at new strategic partnerships that will help us be more competitive. We feel honoured to be partnering with Flipkart in India, and we hope this partnership turns into an efficient model for us to scale up with similar partners in other growth markets.”
Adarsh Menon, Vice President and Head – Electronics and Private Labels, Flipkart further commented, “Alcatel’s percentage share on Flipkart in India is at 15.1% among large screen tablets. In fact, A3 10 has been the best-selling tablet on our platform for the last 3 months. This has prompted us to enter into this partnership with Alcatel, where together we will provide latest developments in consumer technology to our customers.”
