Alcatel has announced three new smartphones named as Alcatel Idol 5S A30 Plus and A50 in the US market. They are sold as an Amazon Prime phones in the US.
The Alcatel Idol 5S comes in Crystal Black colour, the Alcatel A30 Plus comes in Black with Metallic Silver colours while the Alcatel A50 comes in Metal Silver colour. The Alcatel Idol 5S, A30 Plus and A50 are priced at $279.99 (approximately Rs 18,070), $129.99 (approximately Rs 8,390) and $149.99 (approximately Rs 9,680) respectively.
Alcatel Idol 5S
Alcatel Idol 5S features a 5.5-inch HD (1080×1920 pixels) full HD Dragontrail 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by the 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor based on 14nm with Adreno 506 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is packed with a 2620 mAh battery offering up to 16 hours of talk time. The handset also sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Alcatel Idol 5S comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up-to 512 GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone flaunts a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 Aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), USB Type C, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS/A-GPS. The handset dimensions are 148.5×70.8×7.36mm and weigh 148.8 grams.
Alcatel A30 Plus
Alcatel A30 Plus features a 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection powered by MediaTek MT6738 1.5GHZ quad-core processor with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and comes loaded with 3000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack and Micro USB port. It measures 151.8x 76.9x 8.38 mm and weighs 158 grams.
Alcatel A50
On the other hand, Alcatel A50 features a IPS 5.2-inch (1280×720 pixels) with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection display and is powered by an MediaTek MT6738 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The A50 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and it is packed with a 2800 mAh battery.
Alcatel A50 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128 GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The handset dimensions are 146 x 71.8 x 7.87mm and weighs 145 grams.
