Alcatel is reportedly working on new smartphones that will come loaded with the new 18:9 display. The company has already announced Alcatel 3C and it is reportedly working on Alcatel 5 and 3V. Now, both the smartphones have been found listed on Amazon France website for pre-orders revealing some key design, specs and pricing.
Starting with Alcatel 5, the smartphone is available for pre-order on Amazon France website. The smartphone comes with a price of EUR 229.99 (approx. Rs17,967) and it will be available in Black and Gold colour options. The phone comes loaded with metal unibody and you get a brushed metal finish on the back. The front sports a large top bezel, where one can see dual-front cameras along with earpiece, LED flash and usual array of sensors. The right houses volume controls and power on/off button.
Talking about some key specifications, the listing reveals that the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display with 2.5D curved glass along with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The listing further reveals that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor, though there is no mention of the make.

The device will be powered by a quad-core processor, which was earlier reported to be MediaTek MT6737 chipset. The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which could be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.
