Airtel upgrades 4G network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Airtel has upgraded its 4G network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to boost the reception quality of its signals.lls.

Bharti Airtel has announced that it has upgraded its 4G network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with the deployment of 900 technology. The new technology will help improve the overall network experience in both states.

The company has revealed that with the 900 spectrum, Airtel customers will be able to enjoy 4G services inside buildings, homes, offices and malls. “Our endeavour is to deliver best-in-class network experience to our customers. The deployment of LTE 900 will further boost Airtel 4G coverage, particularly inside homes and buildings. Airtel smartphone customers will enjoy a seamless high-speed data and quality calling experience on our upgraded network,” said, Avneet Puri, CEO – Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Bharti Airtel.

With this, Airtel now has spectrum bank of 2300 Mhz (TD LTE), 1800 Mhz (FD LTE) and 900 Mhz (LTE 900) to offer a better 4G experience to its customers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The company has also deployed network technologies and tools such as pre-5G Massiv MIMO, 4G Advanced and Carrier Aggregation for better network capacity and coverage.

Meanwhile, the company introduced its 4G services in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The telecom operator has revealed that the 4G services will be available in Port Blair, to begin with, and it will gradually roll out to other parts of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. With this, Airtel customers can now upgrade to 4G for free and chose from a plethora of prepaid and postpaid plans.
