Bharti Airtel has partnered with Intex Technologies to launch a range of affordable smartphones as a part of its ‘Mera Phela Smartphone’ initiative. The Intex Lions N1 comes with an effective price of Rs 1,649, while the Intex Aqua A4 and Aqua S3 are available at an effective price of Rs 1,999 and Rs 4,379 respectively.
With the Intex Lions N1 users need to make a down payment of Rs 3,149, while for the Aqua A4 and Aqua S3, users need to make a down payment of Rs 3,499 and Rs 5,879. A Customers need to make 36 continuous monthly recharges of Rs 169 pack from Airtel. The customer will get a cash refund of Rs 500 after 18 months and another Rs 1,000 after 36 months, taking the total cash benefit to Rs 1,500.
Intex Aqua S3
In case, one does not wish to opt for Rs 169 bundled plan, he/she has the flexibility of doing recharges of any denomination, however, in order to claim cash refund benefits, one has to do a recharge worth Rs 3000 for the first 18 months to claim first refund installment of Rs 500 and another Rs 3000 over the next 18 months to claim the Rs 1000 refund amount. Further, the refund amount will be transferred to Airtel Payments Bank.
Intex Lions N1, Aqua A4 and Aqua S3 specifications
Starting with Intex Lions N1 and Aqua A4, both the devices sport a 4-inch WVGA display and both of them packs a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 138GB via micro SD card slot. The Lions N1 is powered by a 1.1GHz MediaTek processor, while the Aqua A4 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. On the camera front, the Intex Lions N1 bears a 2-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Aqua A4 features a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel selfie shooter. The Lions N1 and Aqua A4 are backed by a 1,400mAh and 1,750mAh battery respectively.
Intex Aqua A4
Coming to the Intex Aqua S3, the smartphone features a 5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum 9832A processor along with Mali MP2 512 GPU. The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via micro SD card slot. On the camera front, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
Apart from this, all the three smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat and all of them offer full access to all apps on Google Play Store, including YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp. In addition, both smartphones come preloaded with MyAirtel App, Airtel TV, and Wynk Music as well. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, GPS/AGPS and Micro USB port.
