Airtel offers Rs 1,500 cashback on Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, Galaxy J5 Prime and more

The offer will be available in India starting from January 7, 2018.

Bharti Airtel has partnered with Samsung to offer Rs 1,500 cashback on select smartphones. Under this offer, Airtel customers can avail the cashback offer on the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017), Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J7 Pro. The offer will be available in India starting from January 7, 2018.

The offer is a part of Airtel’s ‘Mera Phela Smartphone’ initiative. Under this offer, users have to recharge Airtel’s special recharge pack of Rs 199 that offers 1GB of data per day along with unlimited calling on local and STD network.

However, in order to avail this offer, users need to do a recharge of over Rs 2,500 in the first 12 months to get the first cashback of Rs 300. The second cashback of Rs 1,200 will be available when users do a minimum recharge of Rs 2,500 over the next 12 months. The cashback will be credited to user’s Airtel Payments Bank account.

This means, that Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017), which comes with a market operating price (MOP) of Rs 6,990, will be available at an effective price of Rs 5,490. The Galaxy J5 Prime will be available at an effective price of Rs 10,490, against its original price of Rs 11,990. The Galaxy J7 Prime will be effectively available at Rs 12,400, against its MOP of Rs 13,900. Finally, the Galaxy J7 Pro will be effectively priced at Rs 18,400, down from Rs 19,990.

Previously, Vodafone also announced cashback offer on select Samsung smartphones. Vodafone customers, both existing and new, can purchase Samsung smartphones including Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy 7 Nxt and Galaxy J7 Max to avail the cashback.

This means, that Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro, which comes with a market operating price (MOP) of Rs 8490, will be available at an effective price of Rs 6,990. The Galaxy J7 Nxt will be available at an effective price of Rs 8,990, against its original price of Rs 10,490. The Galaxy J7 Max will be up for an effective price of Rs 15,400, against its MOP of Rs 16,900. The offer will be launched across different locations, later this month.
