After Redmi K 20, Lenovo Z6 to be powered by Snapdragon 730 SoC

With this chipset, the Lenovo Z6 will be positioned between the flagship Z6 Pro that is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition which is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset.

Recently, Lenovo Group VP Chang Cheng teased some of the features of the upcoming Lenovo Z6 phone. He revealed that the phone will come powered by a powerful processor and now it has been confirmed by the company that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset. It may be recalled,Xiaomi had recently launched its K-serieswhich includes Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. While the Pro version is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset, the Redmi K20 has Snapdragon 730 SoC.

The latest teaser image posted on Weibo has confirmed that the Lenovo Z6 will come with 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform. With this chipset, the phone will be positioned between the flagship Z6 Pro that is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition which is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset.

The Snapdragon 730 packs in an octa-core setup which combines two 2.2GHz Kryo 470 cores and six 1.8GHz Kryo 470 cores inside an 8nm-built manufacturing process. The chipset comes paired with an Adreno 618 and can support Up to 8GB memory, eMMC, 2.1 storage and 3.1 connectivity.

Lenovo Z6 will be featuring Sony AI triple camera system. It is likely to be equipped with 6.3 -inch waterdrop-like notch display and 4,000mAh battery. Theofficial teaser images of the phone have already confirmed that smartphone will come in two colour options, Brown and Blue.

Thesmartphone earlier appeared on Geekbench as per which the phone will be powered by 1.8GHz octa-core processor which will be coupled with 8GB of RAM. For the software, the Lenovo Z6 will run Pie out of the box. The phone scored 2556 points in the single-core and 6763 points in the multi-core test in the listing.
