Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari edition coming soon

After Liquid, Liquid Mini has become the official Ferrari certified device from Acer.

Acer, which launched Liquid Ferrari smartphone last year, is set to launch another smartphone – the Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari edition.

An Acer India spokesperson confirmed this to The Mobile Indian, saying, “Although this device has just been unveiled, it is expected to be available for customers in India in the coming months.”

The limited edition Ferrari Acer Liquid Mini is built on the same lines as the original Liquid Mini with a total weight of 105 grams, but to give it a totally different look, this device will come only in Ferrari’s official red colour and will feature the official Ferrari shield on its back. Along with that the device will come installed with Ferrari content such as wallpapers, pictures and even Ferrari engine-sound ringtones.

The Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari edition will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Qualcomm MSM7227-1 featuring a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor with a dedicated Adreno 200 GPU for faster graphics performance. The device comes with 512 MB each of RAM and internal memory. Although slightly outdated in terms of the specifications it will feature Google’s latest mobile operating system &#151Gingerbread.

The Acer Liquid Mini Ferrari edition will also feature a 5 megapixel rear camera without a flash and without 720p video recording capability. The latest Acer UI 4.2 has been incorporated in the device. The screen, although slightly smaller than that of its predecessor, displays 320 x 480 pixel along with higher, 229 ppi pixel density.

The price point has not been revealed by Acer but this device is expected to be on the pocket friendly side. The device will also get an 8 card in the box as part of the bundle.
