Apple may finally provide one of the most sough after features in India – dual SIM – with its next smartphone.
This was claimed by SGI Securities’ analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
As per Ming, like this year, Apple will launch three smartphones next year. He further claimed that phones will have iPhone X’s design language and that atleast one of them will have Qualcomm modems.
He added that all the phones will have dual SIM feature with LTE+LTE connections.
Kuo predicted that the new iPhones will have new Intel XMM 7560 or Qualcomm SDX 20 chipsets with 4×4 MIMO technology. He added that Intel will supply 70-80 percent of the chipsets.
Apple has so far not offered any dual SIM device while most mobile phone makers have multiple such devices in their kitty.
In markets like India dual SIM devices are quite popular.
