Lenovo has claimed to have sold 52,000 units of the Vibe K5 in its first flash sale yesterday. A total of 4 lacs registrations were received for this flash sale within the first weeks of the launch. The registrations for the next flash sale are live on Amazon currently and the next sale for the Vibe K5 will go live on June 29, 2016.
Lenovo Vibe K5 is powered by a 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa core Chipset and 2GB of RAM. The phone has a 5 inch HD display and Dolby Atmos enabled two stereo speakers. Priced at INR 6999, Vibe K5 also supports Lenovo’s TheaterMax technology and can be used with the AntVR headset (sold separately). Vibe K5 has an all metal premium design and comes in three colors – Gold, Silver and Dark Grey.
The phone is equipped with a 13 Megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel selfie camera. Besides, it has Adreno 405 GPU, 16GB of internal storage, and a 32GB micro SD card slot. The Lenovo Vibe K5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is backed up by a 2750 mAh battery, which clams to offer 32 hours talk-time and 15 days of standby time on 2G network. The connectivity options for the device includes Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a Micro USB port. The handset measures 142 x 71 x 7.99 mm and weighs 142 grams.
