Google has officially revealed Android Oreo and it is now time for smartphone brands to slowly push the new operating system to their existing lineup of Android smartphones. While the Google Pixel smartphones will be the first to receive Android Oreo update, other smartphone brands are expected to start to roll out Android Oreo update by the end of 2017. Nokia has promised to be one among of the first to deliver the Android Oreo update, other brands are yet to officially make a comment.
Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is expected to roll out Android Oreo update by next year only as the company is already known to be slow with its update cycles, thanks to MIUI. The tentative list of Android Oreo compatible devices are out and is here are 13 Xiaomi phones that are expected to get the update:

Android O or version 8 is not a significantly major update. Google is mainly focusing on fixing battery life, better the notification experience and introduce better Bluetooth wireless audio through Sony’s LDAC technology.
Other interesting features include picture-in-picture mode which will enhance multitasking experience apart from redesigned adaptive icons, new emojis, etc.
