Micromax’s YU Televentures has formally announced the launch of its latest phablet, Yureka Note, on last Saturday. Interestingly, before the announcement itself, the phone’s price and spec were all over the internet thanks to some Twitter users who revealed the phone’s availability in offline markets. However, the Yu Yureka Note was launched at Rs 13,499 and not Rs 14,999 as was reported earlier. As per YU, the Yureka Note has been made available through mobile stores from Saturday itself.
Meanwhile, in a press release that was issued on Saturday last, Yu said its new Yureka Note “is most suited for a generation today for whom smartphones are primarily about multimedia consumption which translates in reading on the web, watching videos, playing games or listening to music”.
However as was reported earlier, the Yureka Note has 6-inch Full HD Display, a Mediatek MT 6753T octa core processor, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner (at the back), 4000 mAh battery, 13 Megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera, Dual Speakers with NXP smart PA, and Gorilla Glass 3 display Protection.
Running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1, the new smartphone gives users the access to a number of features including voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritization etc.
