Back in October 2016, Apple launched its new MacBook Pro 2016 with and without the Touch Bar. At the time of launch, the company didn’t spill out any information about the price and availability in India. However, Apple is said to have secretly stocked up the variant without Touch Bar in mid-November and Now as reported by Gadgets 360, Apple has also begun stocking the one with the Touch Bar as well.
A Reseller from Kerela (IT Net Infocomm), via Twitter, has confirmed the availability of the Touch Bar variant. The seller also revealed the price. For the 13-inch Touch Bar variant, you will have to dig your pocket by Rs 1,55,900 and for the 15-inch variant, the price starts at Rs 2,05,900.
Just to recollect the specifications, the regular 13 inch MacBook Pro comes with 2.0 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz, 8GB of memory and 256GB of flash storage. The one with the Touch Bar and Touch ID comes with 2.9 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3 GHz, 8GB of memory and 256GB of flash storage and Lastly, the 15 inch MacBook Pro comes with 2.6 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.5 GHz, 16GB of memory and 256GB of flash storage.
For graphics, Apple has opted for Radeon Pro discrete graphics in the 15-inch model and for the 13-inch model, you get Intel Iris Graphics that offers two times faster performance than before. For software, Apple has given the new MacOS Sierra which comes with new features like Siri integration, Universal Clipboard, Apple Pay on the web and Photos.
For connectivity, there are a 3.5mm Audio Jack and two Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports on the 13-inch variant and four Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports on the 15-inch variant.
