Last week Gionee announced that it will be unveiling the Gionee S9 and S9T today. The company will launch the two devices at 2 PM C.S.T. (4:30 PM IST) in China. Both the devices have already received the standard leak treatment and was also spotted on Chinese certification website TENNA. The price is still a mystery and we will get to know about it when the company launches both the devices today.
Ahead of launch, the device has also been spotted on Geekbench. Based on today’s leak, the device will come with a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 Chipset clocked at 1.95 GHz coupled with 4GB RAM. Moreover, it will come running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. 
Recollecting the previous rumour, the device is expected to come with 5.5 inch Full HD display, 64 GB internal storage which will be expandable up to 128GB. To power it all, Gionee is expected to include a 3000 mAh battery. For the camera, as per the leaks, Gionee S9 will come with a dual-camera set up with a combination of 13 Megapixel and 5 megapixel at the back and a 13 megapixel front camera for taking selfies.
Gionee S9T is essentially similar to the S9 except that its Processor is clocked at 2GHz and it will be a little more heavy at 200.8 grams. The Gionee S9, on the other hand, comes weighs at 166.5 grams and the processor on it is expected to be clocked at 2GHz.
With the dual-camera set ups being the next big trend in smartphones, it will be interesting to see how Gionee utilizes that secondary camera at the back.
