Elephone P9000 with 4GB RAM, Android Nougat launched in India at Rs 11,999

The smartphone is available for purchase exclusively through Amazon India.

Hong Kong based brand, Elephone that has roots in Shenzen, China, has silently entered the India market with its Elephone P9000 smartphone. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999 and is available for purchase exclusively through Amazon India.

To recollect, we have received Elephone P9000 unit for review way back in May 2016 and our editor rated this smartphone as satisfactory in terms of overall performance and design.

As far as specifications are concerned, Elephone P9000 has a metal frame that has gone through 34 hours processing crafted and 220 cutting processes. It features a 5.5-inch full OGS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 401 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.8GHz + 1.0GHz MediaTek MT6755M octa-core processor, which is clubocta-coreARM Mali-T860 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The device runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed up by a 3000mAh lithium-polymer non-removable battery, which claims to offer talk-time of 22 hours and of 500 hours.

On the camera front, Elephone P9000 it has 13-megapixel (Sony IMX 258) auto-focus rear camera with flash and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner on the back and comes with port support. Besides, the device offers Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth, Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, Light sensor, Gyrometer, Hall sensor and Breath LED. The handset measures 14.8 x 0.9 x 7.4 cm and weighs 168 grams.
