The HTC Desire 210 measures 125.7 x 65 x 10.5 mm ( height, width, thickness). It weighs 130 grams with the battery which is definitely on the lower side.
The HTC Desire 210 has a 4 inch display. This touchscreen has WVGA (480x 800 pixels) resolution. This means, the Desire 210's display has only 233.24 ppi pixel density.
The Desire 210 is armed with a 5 megapixel rear camera. According to HTC, this camera can record FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution videos. It has a 0.3 megapixel front camera as well which too can record videos but with VGA (640x480 pixels) resolution.
The HTC Desire 210 is armed with a 1 GHz dual core Mediatek MT6572M processor and 512 MB RAM. This combination looks pale in front of quad core processor of Mediatek but at this point of time we cannot talk about its performance.
The Desire 210 has Android 4.2 aka Jelly Bean operating system which is quite common to most Android handsets under Rs 10,000. Like other HTC devices, it too comes with the HTC Sense user interface and the Blinkfeed home screen that is lauded by many for its attractive way to showcase device's content.
There is a 1300 mah Li-Polymer battery in the Desire 210. This battery is thankfully removable so you need not to worry about what to do in case the battery develops a fault in the long run.
The Desire 210 is armed with two SIM slots â€“ a micro SIM and a regular SIM. Besides, it has a 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi (b/g/n), and a micro USB 2.0 port. It has GPS for navigation as well.
The Desire 210 has both audio and video players, supporting a variety of file formats. Anyway it has Android operating system and thus you can download many other media players from the Google Play store.
The smartphone has 4 GB internal storage of which about 2 GB is expected to be available for users. There is an expandable storage slot in the Desire 210 as well which can accommodate a micro SD card of up to 32 GB capacity.
The HTC Desire 210 is priced at Rs 8,700 and will hit the retail market by the end of this month (April).
