Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, has finally launched its first smartphone with bezel-less display in China. Dubbed as Honor Magic, the smartphone will be available in China starting from today.

Priced at 3699 yuan (approx Rs 36,108), Honor Magic will be available in Golden Black and Porcelain White colour variant. The device will be available from several retailers including Vmall.com, JD.com, Tmall.com and Suning.com.

The Honor Magic comes with some ‘magical’ features and relies heavily on artificial intelligence that will help it know who you are, what you do and what you might want to do.

To start with, the smartphone scans your identity through your hand and eyes, and then turns on the screen.

The message displayed on the lock screen of the Honor Magic will only appear when the phone has verified your identity otherwise it will show a blank screen. Interesting, indeed.

Another interesting feature of the Honor Magic is it automatically show up a flashlight option, whenever it sense a dark place. However, you still have to decide if you want to turn it on or off.

The smartphone comes with a 5.0-inch with a screen of 2,560×1,440 pixels with a curved design.

Under the hood, there is an octa-core Huawei Kirin 950 processor. Apparently, the same is found in the Honor 8 as well. The phone is backed by a 4GB of and 64GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, the device sports a 12MP dual lens sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. One of its lens clicks an image in black and white, while the other take color photos. There is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The device is powered by a 2,900mAh battery with quick charge which the company boasts can charge the device up to 70 per cent in just 20 minutes.

The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow with company new Honor Magic Live on top of it.

The Honor Magic is only available for the China market as of now, but it’s possible that Honor might the new ‘concept’ phone to other markets as well.
