Samsung has slashed the price of its Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone. The Galaxy A9 (2018) starts at Rs 25,990 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, down from Rs 28,990. The 8GB + 128GB version of the phone is now available at Rs 28,990, down from Rs 31,990.

The Galaxy A9 (2018) features a 6.3-inch Full Super AMOLED Infinity display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution. It is backed by 3,300mAh battery under its hood. The phone has a 24-megapixel primary f/1.7 sensor, with a 10-megapixel telephoto camera that has 2x optical zoom, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has a 24-megapixel front camera along with an f/2.0 aperture. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 with Adreno 512 GPU.

Honor Play price dropped by Rs 7,000

Honor Play was launched in India last year in two variants – 4GB + 64GB version for Rs 19,999 and 6GB + 64GB for Rs 23,999. Now the smartphone has received a price cut of up to Rs 7,000.

The 4GB variant is now priced at Rs 14,999 after a price cut of Rs 5,000 while the 6GB variant after a price cut of Rs 7,000, retails at Rs 16,999 on Amazon India.

The Honor Play features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 with ARM Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The device comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The phone is backed by 3750mAh battery and it runs on 8.1 Oreo, which is based on EMUI 8.1. For optics, the phone features 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor at the back, while for the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter.

Samsung Galaxy A30 price dropped by Rs 1,500

Samsung Galaxy A30 has received a price cut of Rs 1,500, bringing the effective price of Galaxy A30 down to Rs 15,490 from Rs 16, 990 earlier.

The Samsung Galaxy A30 features a 6.4-inch full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display. The device runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed up by 4000mAh battery with fast charging. It comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage which can be expanded up to 512GB via micro SD card.

The phone gets a dual rear camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide sensor. For the front, the phone has a 16 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core processor.

The smartphone was launched at a starting price of Rs 23,990 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. Now after the price cut, the device is priced at Rs 15,990 for the 4GB + 64GB variant while the 6GB + 128GB variant is now priced at Rs 19,990.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) features a 6-inch full-HD+ with 1080×2220 pixels resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is fueled by a 3300mAh battery with adaptive fast charging. It has a triple rear camera of 24-megapixel with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 8-megapixel with ultra-wide f/2.4 lens for photos and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor. Infinix Note 5 price dropped by Rs 3,000

Infinix Note 5 Android One smartphone was launched in India for Rs 9,999 for 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. Now after a price cut of Rs 3000, the smartphone is now available starting at Rs 6,999 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 8,999.

The Infinix Note 5 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2240 x 1080 pixels) display coupled with 500nits brightness and 80 per cent NTSC colour gamut. The phone has a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor. The smartphone comes under Android One program from Google.

On the camera front, Infinix Note 5 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with large 1.25-micron pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED soft flash. The phone features a fingerprint sensor at the back and it has a 4500mAh battery.

Infinix Smart 2 price dropped by Rs 1,000

Infinix Smart 2 was launched last year in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage at Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively. Now after a price cut of Rs 1,000, the Infinix Smart 2 2GB variant retails at Rs 4,999. The 3GB variant has received a price cut of Rs 400 and now it comes at Rs 5,599 on Flipkart.

Infinix Smart 2 has a 5.45-inch HD+ Full View with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek 6739 processor. The variants memory can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The device features face unlocking technology but it lacks a fingerprint sensor.

For the camera department, the Smart 2 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.0 aperture with Dual LED Flash and 8-megapixel front camera with Dual LED Flash and Bokeh mode. The Infinix Smart 2 is backed up by a 3050mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with company’s own XOS v3.3.0 operating system.

Oppo R17 Pro price dropped by Rs 10,000

There is a huge price cut of Rs 10,000 on the Oppo R17 Pro smartphone. Oppo R17 was launched in India in December last year at Rs 45,990, though it received a price cut of Rs 6,000 in March this year. Now the phone has again received a price cut and now it is priced at Rs 29,990.

The Oppo R17 Pro has a 6.4-inch AMOLED on-cell full-HD+ display with a waterdrop notch design, 1080×2340 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360) processor with Adreno 616 GPU. It is fueled by a 3700mAh battery with Super VOOC Flash Charge technology.

It has 8GB of RAM with 128GB and does not have a microSD card slot for expanding storage. For the optics, the Oppo R17 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture (f/1.5-2.4) and OIS, a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.6 aperture, and a Time of Flight (TOF) 3D sensing camera for capturing 3D photos. Tecno Camon i4 2GB variant was launched at Rs 9,599. After a price cut of Rs 600, the smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999.

The Tecno Camon i4 features a 6.2-inch HD+ dot notched display with a screen resolution of 1500 x 720 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 88.6% screen to body percentage. The device is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio A22 (MTK 6761) quad-core processor clocked at 2GHz along with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The Camon iSky 3, which was launched for Rs 8599 now comes with a revised price of Rs 7,999. The phone has received a price cut of Rs 600.

Tecno Camon iSky 3 features a 6.2-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 88 per cent. Vivo V15 smartphone has got a price cut of Rs 2,000. The smartphone was launched in India last month for Rs 23,990 and it now retails at Rs 21,990 on Flipkart and Vivo Online store.
