Asus ROG Phone 2: 12 Things You Should Know!

The smartphone comes in two variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at Rs 37,999 and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage is priced at Rs 59,999.

Asus ROG Phone 2 is backed by a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels along with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The gaming phone features 120Hz Refresh Rate and 240Hz response time along with 108 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The smartphone comes loaded with a glass design and the back panel comes with improved heat pipe for better heat management. There is a side-mounted connector through which one can attach different gaming accessories to the gaming smartphone.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Processor along with Adreno 640 GPU coupled with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and 12GB RAM + 512GB UFS 3.0 storage options.

Asus ROG Phone 2 runs on Android 9.0 Pie, which is based on ROG UI. There is a Armory Crate application, which allows to customise various settings for enhanced gameplay experience.

The major highlight of the smartphone are the new AirTriggers 2, which can be customised in Armory Crate application.

The smartphone also features new Aura Sync Lighting, which is emits different colours from the ROG logo situated at the back panel.

For the photography, the phone is loaded with a dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 48-megapixel primary lens along with a 13-megapixel Wide-Angle lens with a 125-degree field of view.

For the front, the company has added a 24-megapixel selfie shooter.

The smartphone is equipped with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and it also support face unlock.

As for the competition, is concerned, the ROG Phone 2 will face a stiff competition from the likes of upcoming OnePlus 7T, Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Apple iPhone 11 and more.
