Chinese handset giant, ZTE has announced the launch of Grand SII smartphone in India. The handset will hit the markets after a week but its price has not been revealed as of now.
The ZTE Grand SII was unveiled way back in January this year. Curiously, the press release says that the phone is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system while other tech websites claim it to have Android 4.3 version but in anyway, it does not seem to have the Android KitKat version let alone the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The Grand SII though is quite light, weighs only 120 grams, and is just 7.9 mm thick. Also it has the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8674) processor that has a clock speed of 2.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot. The Grand SII’s 5.5 inch display also has full high definition (1080p) resolution.
The ZTE Grand SII has a 13 megapixel rear auto focus camera and a 5 megapixel fixed focus front camera. It has a 2500 mAh battery which may not be enough to run the phone for a full day considering its huge display and powerful processor. Besides, it has FM radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G connectivity.
