Xolo has announced a new phone, called Q1020, with distinct wooden edges. The Xolo Q1020 has been listed on the company’s website for Rs 11,499.
The Q1020 features a 5 inch IPS display with high definition Resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 covering. The display said to support 5 point touches. This Android 4.4 KitKat operating system based smartphone has 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6582 quad core processor, Mali 450 GPU, and 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB of internal storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot.
Besides, the Xolo Q1020 comes armed with a 13 megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor and a 2 megapixel front camera. The phone has a 2100 mAh Li-Po battery that claims to offer 12.52 hours of 3G talktime. It has two SIM slots and offers Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi with Hotspot feature.
Earlier, Motorola has launched the Moto X smartphone with a wooden back. The Q1020’s back panel though is in plastic. Feature wise, the Q1020 is nothing significant except its 13 megapixel rear camera which sounds good with Exmor RS sensor. At this price, handsets with even Mediatek octa core processor are available.
