Xiaomi announced a new armoured edition for the 128GB variant of Poco F1 last month for a price of Rs 23,999. To make it more attractive for its users in India, the company has now released two new skins for its premium affordable smartphone of last year, thus bringing the total number of skins available for the Poco F1 to six.
Xiaomi took to Twitter to announce the new skins which have been named as Matte Yellow and Matrix Black, both of which are available for Rs 299 through Xiaomi’s own Mi.com and Flipkart. Previously, Poco F1 users in India were limited to just four skins including Black Leather, Dark Cameo, Black Sandstone and Ebony Wood.

The new skins will give users an option to customise their phones since the Poco F1 comes with a polycarbonate case at the back. The device is also available in an Armoured Edition which features a Kevlar aramid fibre at the back, giving it a sturdy build and premium look. Skins on the Poco F1 will offer a similar trait and will protect the phone from animal drops and scratches on the surface.
Just recently, Poco announced a permanent price cut for its first smartphone. The base 6GB/64GB variant is now available for Rs 19,999, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage can now be purchased at Rs 22,999. The 8GB/256GB version and its Armoured edition will now be available for as low as Rs 27,999 and Rs 28,999 respectively.
The Poco F1 is thus the cheapest smartphone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor and features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone is available in 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. For optics, the device features dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX363 sensor with dual pixel autofocus, with dual LED Flash, 1.4μm pixel size and a 5-megapixel secondary Samsung sensor. It has a 20-megapixel selfie camera along with support for IR face unlock feature. The device is backed up by 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
