Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Cosmic Purple colour option launched in India

With this, the Redmi Note 8 is now available in four colour options including Cosmic Purple, Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black.

Xiaomi has today announced the launch of a new colour variant of its Redmi Note 8 smartphone. Dubbed as Cosmic Purple, the new colour variant will go on sale starting from November 29, 2019, at 12:00 PM in the country.

The new colour variant will be available for purchase from Amazon, Mi.com and Mi Home stores across the country. The colour variant is available for both variants, the 4GB + 64GB of internal storage variant for Rs 9,999 and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option for Rs 12,999. The company revealed this news on its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads, “Mi fans, presenting a new avatar of the #RedmiNote8. The all-new Cosmic Purple colour variant. Like it? You can soon own it. Get it during the #BlackFridaySale from 29th November.”

With this, the Redmi Note 8 is now available in four colour options, Cosmic Purple, Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black. Interestingly, this is the same colour option that was launched in China as Nebula Purple.

Recollecting some key specifications, the Redmi Note 8 features an AI quad rear camera setup with 48-megapixel as the primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor, PDAF, EIS, an 8-megapixels 120 degree super wide-angle lens with 1.12 μm, 2-megapixel macro lens with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 and a 2-megapixels depth sensor. On the front, it has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter that supports AI beauty with f/2.0 aperture.

The Redmi Note 8 is backed by a 6.39-inch FHD+ display with a of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 450 nit brightness and 90.5 screen-to body-ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone comes with an option to expand the storage up to 512GB via card. The phone runs on 9 based on MIUI 10 and comes packed with 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charge support.
