Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A spotted on TENAA, specs revealed

The dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 on top and is fueled by 3000 mAh battery.

Xiaomi is reportedly all set to launch Xioami Redmi Note 5A smartphone on August 21 in China. Now ahead of the launch, the smartphone has been now spotted on TENNA certification website with model number MDT6. The listing not only has images of the phone but it also carries the major specifications of the device as well.

As per the listing, Xiaomi MDT6 features a 5.5-inch display that has display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage, 32 expandable storage via a micro card, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The dual phone runs on 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 on top and is fueled by 3000 battery. Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a port. The dimensions of the phone are 153.3 x 76.3 x 7.31 mm and it weighs 150 g. The device is listed in Black, Rose Gold, Gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray, and Silver colour options. The phone has Gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor as per the listing.

Meanwhile, besides the Redmi 5A, Xioami will also launch the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5 smartphones. The Redmi Note 5 will feature a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 64-bit Octa-core processor with Adreno 508 GPU. The smartphone will be featuring a fingerprint sensor below the display which can double as a home button. For connectivity features, Redmi Note 5 will be supporting USB 3.1, 5 and Quick Charge 4.0.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be backed up by a 3,790mAh non-removable battery and will be powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with yet-unreleased MIUI 9 on top of it. For camera department, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will ship with a rear front 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 and a 13-megapixel front camera. It will apparently come in different variants including 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The basic variant is expected to be priced at $200 which is approximately Rs 12,976.
