Recently, Xioami announced a list 14 Xiaomi devices that will be upgraded to Android Nougat. The list, however, did not include India’s popular Xiaomi Redmi 4 smartphone. Now a banner has been spotted on Flipkart which has revealed that the Redmi Note 4 will get the Android Nougat update soon. The smartphone was launched earlier this year with Android Marshmallow operating system.
Xiaomi, however, rolled out Android Nougat based Developer Preview ROM for the smartphone earlier this month but did not announce an official exact update date. Now with the banner, we expect Note 4 be upgraded to the new version soon. The device is priced at Rs 9,999 for 2GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, Rs 10,999 for 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and Rs 12,999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and comes in Dark Grey, Black and Gold colour options.
