One can open an app like usual, while the second app will be opened in a floating window, which can be resized, moved to close down without disturbing the primary app. The floating window also supports MIUI navigation gestures and one can navigate in both apps according to their need.

Xiaomi has added a new Super Wallpapers feature to the MIUI 12 operating system. The company says that the Super Wallpapers will show multiple levels of aerial views of the Earth and Mars. Super Wallpapers work is quite appealing. When you see the lock screen, there will be a planet and once you tap on the display to activate it, you will see a nearer view and when the phone is unlocked, there is a swift animation that takes you to the closer aerial view.

The UI will automatically adjust the weight and boldness of the front and it has adjusted font contrast for dark mode.

New Control centre

The MIUI 12 also brings a new control centre. The company has removed the control centre from the notification panel and it is now similar to what we have seen in many Vivo smartphones and Apple iOS. Interestingly, if you don’t prefer this setting, you can always turn it off from the Display Settings.
