Xiaomi has launched the Mi CC9 series of smartphones including CC9, CC9e and CC9 Meitu Custom Edition in China. The Xiaomi Mi CC9 is priced at 1799 Yuan (Rs 18,045 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 1999 Yuan (Rs 20,050 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e come in White Lovers, Dark Blue and Black colours.
The Mi CC9 Meitu Edition with 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at 2599 Yuan (Rs 26,070 approx.) and it comes in Pearl White colour. It is a premium phone whose camera capabilities are powered by Meitu’s imaging algorithms.
The Mi CC9e is priced at 1299 Yuan (Rs 13,030 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 1399 Yuan (Rs 14,030 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and 1599 Yuan (Rs 16,035 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. It will be available in China from July 9th.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED Display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution, 403ppi pixel density and 430 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 616 GPU. The phone has internal storage variants of 64GB and 128GB with the option to expand further using a microSD card slot (up to 256GB). It features a 7th-generation in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Mi CC9 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and another 2-megapixel sensor for depth of field. For the front, the phone is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 Aperture as well. There is Game Turbo 2.0 for accelerated graphics performance which enhances the gaming experience.
The Mi CC9 run on Android Pie-based MIUI 10 and is backed up by a 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and more. The phone measures 156.8×74.5×8.67mm and it weighs 179 grams.
Moving to Xiaomi Mi CC9e, the device sports a 6.088-inch HD+ AMOLED display with 720×1560 pixels resolution, 350 nits screen brightness and TUV Rheinland certification. It is powered by the 11nm 2.0GHz Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor. The phone has 4GB / 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GBstorage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. Rest of the specs for Mi CC9e are same as of Mi CC9. The phone weighs 173.8 grams and it measures 153.48×71.85×8.4mm.
Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Edition is identical to the Mi CC9 but features some camera tweaks courtesy of the Meitu team, which Xiaomi acquired in late 2018. The Mi CC9 Meitu Edition also comes with Meitu’s unique AI low-light portrait feature.
