Xiaomi recently launched an 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage variant of Redmi Note 8 Pro in China. Now the company has announced a new colour variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro – Ocean Blue
Xiaomi global’s Twitter post revealed that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will soon be offered in a new Ocean Blue colour variant. This new colour option looks very much identical to the Deep Sea Blue colour option that was launched in Taiwan earlier this month. The new Redmi Note 8 Pro Ocean Blue colour option joins the Shadow Black, Gamma Green, and Halo White colours apart from the Deep See Blue colour.
The company’s Twitter handle is teasing the launch of the new Redmi Note 8 Pro Ocean Blue colour variant and it has not specified in which region this new colour will be launched. Xiaomi has also not announced the launch date and price for the new Redmi Note 8 Pro colour variant. However, it is not currently known if the new colour option will launch in other markets including India or not.
The new colour variant of the Redmi Note 8 has the same specifications as the previous ones. Apart from colour difference, the specifications and even the pricing is the same as the existing colour variants of Redmi Note 8 Pro. Other colour variants include Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black shades. However, it is not currently known if the new colour option will launch in other markets including India or not.
Redmi Note 8 Pro was launched in India recently. In India, it comes in three variants – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage priced at Rs 14,999, 6GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs 15,999 and the premium variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB is priced at Rs 17,999.
Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with 2340×1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.4 % screen to body ratio, 3D curved glass design, waterdrop-style notch, TUV Rheinland eye certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone runs on Android 9 based on MIUI 11 and packs a massive 4,500 mAh battery with 18W Fast charging support.
