Weekly roundup: Smartphones launched this week

This week another Chinese phone maker, Coolpad, entered the Indian market.

It has been a strangely slow week. It seems that the oppressive heat has stifled the enthusiasm of the brands too. Even so, Samsung has launched yet another version of the Galaxy Grand, Wiio, an Indian brand launched a new phone, and Sony added two phones to their portfolio. Coolpad, yet another Chinese brand with huge fan following, making it the 6th largest smart phone manufacturer in the world.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus – Rs 9,990

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Plus has a 5 inch TFT display with a of 480 x 800 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Plus runs on KitKat and has a quad-core 1.2 GHz processing unit, which runs with 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 8 GB, to which you can add another 64 GB via a microSD card.
