From Note 5 of Samsung to Yu Yunique, this week several devices were launched in the Indian market.

With every passing day, smartphones are getting older quickly as technology is changing at a faster rate. Now for instance, just in April this year Asus brought world’s first smartphone with 4 RAM. Only a couple of more companies like Lenovo and OnePlus have came out with 4 GB based smartphones. But now Samsung has started working on a smartphone with 6 GB RAM!

No wonder, people start feeling sorry when they see someone with a latest device. So if you are having that kind of feeling these days, then this article is meant for you.

Here we have listed all the devices that were launched in India this week.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 – Rs 53,900 to 59,000

While Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 6S and 6S Plus in the US, Samsung brought its latest flagship Galaxy Note 5 to India earlier this week for a starting price of Rs 53,900.

The Note 5 has a 5 inch Super with superb quad HD or 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Ofcourse it is based on the latest Lollipop operating system and has Samsung’s Touch Wiz UI. With an octa-core clocked at 2.1 GHz and 4 GB RAM, the phone also promises blazing fast performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes in 32 and 64 GB built in storage variants but neither of them have expandable storage. The smartphone offers a 16 megapixel auto focus with optical image stabilisation and a host of other features; while for selfies it has a 5 megapixel front camera. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has one SIM slot, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, and a 3000 battery.

Lava Pixel V2 – Rs 10,750

The successor to the Lava Pixel V1, the Lava Pixel V2 is armed with a 5 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It runs on Android Lollipop, with Lava’s own Star OS and has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, which runs with 2 GB of RAM. The of the Lava Pixel V2 stands at 16 GB, to which you can add another 32 GB via a microSD card. The primary camera is a 13 megapixel shooter, while the front of the phone has an 8 megapixel selfie taker. The Lava Pixel V2 is a phone with 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. The 2500 mAh battery can provide up to 9.9 hours of talk time.

Yu Yunique – Rs 4,999

Earlier this week, Micromax’s Yu brought its cheapest smartphone – the Yu Yunique at Rs 4,999. The handset is equipped with a 4.7 inch HD IPS display. The phone runs Android Lollipop based Cyanogen 12.1 operating system. It has a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, which runs with 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 8 GB to which you can add another 32 GB via a microSD card. The primary camera is an 8 megapixel camera and the front of the phone has a 2 megapixel selfie shooter. The dual-SIM Yu Yunique is a phone with GPS, WiFi, and for connectivity. The power is provided by a 2000 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia M5 – Rs 37,990

The Sony Xperia M5 is armed with a full HD 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It runs on Android Lollipop and has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, which runs with 3 GB of RAM. The internal memory of the Sony Xperia M5 stands at 16 GB to which you can add a ridiculous 2 TB of storage via a microSD card.

The highlight of Xperia M5 is undoubtedly its cameras – a 21.5 megapixel rear auto focus camera and a 13 megapixel auto focus front camera. This dual-SIM smartphone also offers 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, DLNA, NFC, WiFi, and a 2600 mAh battery that claims to offer up to 11.9 hours of or 671 hours of standby.

Micromax Canvas Juice 3 – Rs 8,999

The Micromax Canvas Juice 3 is equipped with a 5 inch HD IPS display. The phone runs on Android Lollipop. It has a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, which runs with 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory stands at 8 GB to which you can add another 32 GB via a microSD card. The primary camera is an 8 megapixel camera and the front of the phone has a 2 megapixel selfie shooter. The dual-SIM Micromax Canvas Juice 3 is a phone with GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth for connectivity. Its 4000 mAh battery can provide up to 14 hours of talk time or 515 hours of standby.

Zopo Speed 7 – Rs 12,999

The Zopo Speed 7 is equipped with a 5 inch full HD IPS display with super narrow bezels. The phone runs on Android Lollipop and has an octa-core 1.5 GHz processor, which runs with 3 GB of RAM.

For storage, it offers in-built storage of 16 GB and a 64 GB microSD card slot as well. The primary camera is a 13 megapixel camera and the front of the phone has a 5 megapixel selfie shooter. The dual-SIM Zopo Speed 7 is a 4G phone with GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth for connectivity. The 2500 mAh battery can provide up to 10 hours of talk time or 120 hours of standby time.

Misfit Shine, Misfit Flash, Misfit Link – Rs 5,999, 2,499, 1,999

Alcatel Onetouch Smartwatch

Priced at Rs 7,999, the Alcatel Onetouch smart watch features a 3.09 cm (1.22) round display, along with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixel. It has an oleophobic coating for preventing the accumulation of fingerprints on the display.

On the display screen, one can access notifications like call alerts, emails, Facebook and Twitter updates and Whatsapp messages.

Samsung Galaxy J2

The new Samsung Galaxy J2 is priced at just Rs 8,940. At this point of time, the Samsung Galaxy J2 is confirmed to have a screen with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution and a 1.3 GHz quad core processor. However, nothing more is known about the phone yet, atleast officially.

Few days back though media reports claimed that the Galaxy J2 has a 4.7 inch screen, Android Lollipop operating system, 1 GB RAM, micro SD card slot, 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The reports added that the phone measures 129 x 68.2 x 8.9 mm dimensions and weighs 122 grams. It is said to have dual SIM with dual standby feature. It is said to be available in black and white colours with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Radio, and a micro USB port.
