Vodafone has today revised its Rs 199 prepaid plan. Under the revised plan, Vodafone users will now get more data.
Telecom Talk reports, on recharge of Rs 199 pack, customers will now get 2.8GB of data per day and the pack is valid for 28 days. Earlier, the same pack was offering just 1.4GB of 4G/3G/2G data for 28 days. This means users will now get 78.4GB data for the same amount for 28 days. Apart from this, the pack offers the same benefits of unlimited voice calls and it still comes with a validity of 28 days. However, the unlimited calls do come with some restrictions as one only call 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. This plan does not come with any SMS benefit. With this revised Rs 199 plan Vodafone has brought down the per GB value to Rs 2.53.
As per the report, this prepaid pack is applicable only for select users and not for all its prepaid customers. The plan is only available for select users residing in circles where the Vodafone has 4G operations. So the newly revised plan is not applicable for users residing in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh circles.
For other users, the Vodafone Rs 199 prepaid recharge plan still offers 1.4GB of daily with unlimited calling, as well as 100 SMS each day, for a validity of 28 days.
If we compare with other telcos, Reliance Jio Rs 198 prepaid plan offers 2GB data per day with a validity of 28 days along with unlimited calls as well as 100 SMS per day. Airtel Rs 199 plan offers 1.4GB data per day with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day, with a validity of 28 days.
