Vivo is all set to launch new smartphones in its budget-centric Y-series in India. The company is going to launch two smartphones, the Vivo Y12, and Vivo Y15, in the country pretty soon.
Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, has revealed the complete specs sheet of the Vivo Y12 and Vivo Y15 smartphones. Both smartphones will be equipped with a 6.35-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a screen Resolution of 1544 x 720 pixels along with 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, 268ppi pixel density. The smartphones will be available in Burgundy Red and Aqua Blue color options.

Both of them will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The Vivo Y12 will be available in two configurations including 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage. The Vivo Y15 will be available in a single variant of 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded with the help of a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the camera front, both the smartphones are loaded with a triple-camera setup, which comes with a combination of an 8-megapixel AI 120-degree super wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 Aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The Vivo Y12 is loaded with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, while the Vivo Y15 will be loaded with a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The camera will come with different modes including AI Filters mode, Fun Video, Live Photo, Portrait, HDR, Professional, Panorama and Doc mode.
Both the phones run on Android 9.0 Pie, which is based on FunTouch OS and both of them are backed up by a 5000mAh battery. The phones are equipped with rear-facing fingerprint sensor and it also features face unlock feature. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio Jack and Micro USB port.
