Videocon Ultra50 with 4G VoLTE, 5-inch HD display launched at Rs 8,990

The Ultra50 runs on Android Marshmallow and also houses a front-facing Fingerprint scanner.

Videocon has announced the launch of its new flagship Videocon Ultra50 smartphone at an introductory price of Rs 8,990. The smartphone will available on offline and online platforms from the first week of November 2016. Videocon is also offering an 18-months warranty and 15-day replacement warranty on the device.

The Videocon Ultra50 has a Curved Bezel design with glass finishing on both sides and features a 5-inch (1280 × 720 pixels) IPS display supported by MiraVision. It is powered by a 1.3GHz 64bit Quad Core processor, which is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It comes with an option to expand the storage further up to 64 via microSD card. The Ultra50 runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and comes packed with a 3000mAh battery.

The Ultra50 flaunts a 13-megapixel auto-focus snapper with Dual Flash and PDAF on its back. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED Flash for selfies. The smartphone also houses a front-facing Fingerprint Sensor. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, with Voice over LTE, WiFi, GPS, a microUSB port, Gesture Control feature, and Dual Whatsapp feature.

Ultra50 comes with the pre-installed SOS-Be Safe emergency response app, enable the user to get help in case of any emergency condition. Moreover, the smartphone comes with pre-installed ErosNow with a free 1-year membership.
