Videocon Mobile has launched a smartphone, Infinium Z50 Nova, for Rs 5,999. The highlight of the handset is its 8 Megapixel rear camera which comes with auto focus feature and Sony’s Exmor R sensor. It also has a 2MP secondary camera which supports video calling over 3G or Skype.
The Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova has a 1.3 GHz quad core Mediatek Processor along with a Dual Core Mali 400 GPU and 5-Inch qHD IPS capacitive touch screen.
The device comes equipped with 8 GB internal storage (User accessible memory approx. 6GB) and 1GB DDRII RAM. Also note that it is based on Android 4.2.2 KitKat OS but Videocon has promised to upgrade it to next Android version. Besides, it has 32GB external memory and robust 1900 mAh battery.
The dual SIM smartphone has 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, and Miracast support.
The smartphone is available in Sparkling Black and White colour variants and comes packaged with a built in Anti-Virus (V-secure) and a GPS powered personal safety application (V-safe) both with a 90 day free subscription, Hungama, Gameloft games (Modern Combat 4 Zero Hour, GT Racing 2). It is available on Flipkart.
