Integrating with CallKit Extension, Truecaller has finally extended the Spam Blocking functionality to iOS platform with iOS 10. According to latest data reports, Indian users receive more than 300 million unwanted calls per month which are quite alarming and Truecaller has finally come to the rescue especially for iOS users.
In the latest update, Truecaller will automatically identify whether the call has been reported as Spam or not helping users save time on not picking up those annoying spam calls. Further, the famous caller ID App has also added a new ‘My Block List’ feature where one can add the spam numbers and have full control as to who can call you. The app has also improved the after-call notifications and brings in all the necessary features from CallKit.
As of now, the update has been just rolled out for iOS 10 users so you need to update your Apple device to iOS 10 first. Once done, head over to Settings->Phone->Call Blocking and Identification to turn on the feature.
A couple of days back, Truecaller released a new update, Truecaller Priority, for Android after it partnered with Flipkart’s logistics partner ‘Ekart’ for better package tracking and avoiding unanswered calls from Courier people.
