CooTek has launched Touchpal keypad for android smart phones that brings Swype based input functionality to them.
The Touchpal keypad is an independent input system for android devices that works on both multi tap and swype input systems. Along with that the Touchpal also features word suggestions and auto complete options that give multiple word options to the users with the minimum possible input required.
The company claims that with the use of this new intelligent word suggestion technology users can save up to 80 per cent keystrokes while using devices.
Along with the swype input the Touchpal keypad also features T+ keypad which has dual letter layout that has bigger keys as compared to qwerty.
The developer CooTek has decided to keep the application free to early adopters but for a limited time only. So users who will be installing this application before 31 October will get the advertisement free version of the Touchpal keypad for free. After that the developer might decide to make it paid or advertisement supported as they like.
The keypad works with devices running Android version 1.5 and above and users can download the application form the android marketplace from their device or can alternatively follow the link to download this as well.
