Its still several months away but rumours are keep coming about the upcoming Apple devices. Now Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities, an analyst who is well known for his predictions, said that two new iPhones will come later this year with 5.8 inch and 6.5-inch OLED screens. He also said that an entry level version with a 6.1 inch display is also on the cards.
Kuo said that the entry level iPhone will have 3 GB RAM against 4 GB of other two models, and it won’t have 3D touch like the other two. He added that Apple will ship about 80 to 90 millions units of the phone, of which about 50 per cent will be 6.1 inch models.
The analyst said that the 6.1 inch model could be priced at $700 t0 $800 (Rs 44,500 to Rs 50,000 approximately).
Meanwhile, a report in ChinaTimes has also claimed that a 6.1 inch iPhone is set to make its debut later this year. the report added that the display will have 2160×1080 Pixel resolution and that it will be a Full Active LCD screen.
Recently, reports claimed that Apple might discontinue its current flagship, the iPhone X, due to lower-than-expected sales.
