Spice launches m6688 with WiFi for Rs 3,800

The dual SIM phone features a 3.2 inch touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and EDGE and WiFi connectivity options.

Spice has silently made available a new full touch dual SIM phone with WiFi at the asking price of Rs 3800. The phone called M-6688 features a 3.2 inch touch screen with a 400x240 pixel resolution. Being a touch screen phone a proximity sensor, which switches of the screen when you place the phone to your ear for call, is important and has been provided.

The phone comes with a Comet user interface and iHome user interface, which is a proprietary user interface based on Java used by Spice. The Spice m6688 also comes with 3.2MP camera with video recording feature.

On the connectivity front the phone has many options including Bluetooth, USB, WiFi, GPRS and EDGE connectivity.

The handset has a 1000mAh battery that promises 4 hours of talktime on a single charge. It has 43.8MB of internal storage capacity which can be furthered till 8GB via microSD card.

Other features include FM radio with recording and a 312MHz processor. The phone is already available with online retail sites like Indiatimes and Saholic.
