Sony Xperia L1 with Android Nougat launching in India soon?

The smartphone is powered by a 1.45 Ghz Quad-Core MediaTek 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU.

Seems like Sony is all set to launch yet another smartphone with Nougat in India in the coming days. Dubbed as Xperia L1, the device has been found listed as coming soon on one of the Indian online retailer ‘OnlyMobiles’ with detailed specification without pricing. The listing shows that the smartphone comes in three different colour options: Black, White and Pink. The Sony Xperia L1 smartphone was announced earlier this year for global markets.

As per listing, the Sony Xperia L1 has a 5.5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with a of 267 ppi. It is powered by a 1.45 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737T 64-bit with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The phone has 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with an expandable option to up to 256GB via the micro card slot. The smartphone sports on-screen buttons and its edges are flat and not curved. It does not come with a fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera that has and a LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera is there for selfies. This LTE smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. Besides, the Sony Xperia L1 has a non-removable 2620 mAh battery with Sony’s STAMINA mode for battery saving which claims to offer talk time up to 11.2 hours and standby time up to 639 hours. Furthermore, the smartphone also offers connectivity features such as dual sim, 4.2 with aptX, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and a microUSB port. The device’s dimensions are 151 x 74 x 8.7 mm and it weighs 180 grams. It has Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor and Geomagnetic Sensor.
