Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) with model number SM-G6100 was found on GFXBenchmarking website some time back. Now the phone with Samsung SM-G610F as the model number featuring an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor has been spotted on GeekBench Benchmarking website as well. The SM-G610F is expected to be the Galaxy On7 (2016) for India. The phone with model number SM-G610F has been found on Indian export import website Zauba. Also, since it has been spotted on the Indian import/export website, we are expecting it to be launched in India.
In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung SM-G610F got 742 in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 4152. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung phone has 3GB RAM, Exynos 7870 Chipset with 1.59 GHz octa core processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The handset is based on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
As per the Zauba listing, the Galaxy On7 (2016) features a fingerprint sensor. The Zauba listing shows that Samsung has imported fingerprint unit for the SM-G10F in India for testing and evaluation. If the Zauba reports are true, the Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) would actually be the first ever mid-budget Samsung smartphone to feature a fingerprint scanner.
As per the earlier listing on GFXBench, Samsung SM-G6100 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon (Cortex A53) 2.0 GHz octa-core processor which is expected to be a variant to be launched in China. Also, the GFX listing shows 4.8-inch display that has full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution and 5 finger gesture support, 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage out of which 10GB is reserved for the users, Adreno 506 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. In the listing there is no information about its battery or expandable memory.
Further, the Samsung phone has 13-megapixel autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. There is an 8-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor as well.
As of now, when Samsung has plans to launch Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) in India is not known.
