Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to launch on September 12 in India as the company has started sending out the media invites for the same. However, it is important to note that the company has not officially confirmed that it will be launching the device on the said date.
Interestingly, the date also collides with the unveiling of the latest iPhone 8, which is scheduled to take place in the United States. We earlier reported that the smartphone will available for pre-booking starting from September 25. The timing will play a crucial role here as most of the manufacturers will try their level best to take full advantage of the Diwali season. Keeping in mind that currently Galaxy Note 8 will face minimum competition, especially at a premium price point, Samsung will try to make it available as soon as possible.
Coming to the pricing, the smartphone was launched at a price tag of $930 in the US, which roughly translates to Rs 59,561. However, it would be priced a bit higher in India and a recent report suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be priced Rs 69,900 in the country. It will be available in Black and Gold colour variants, and if you pre-order you’ll get a free wireless charger as well, points out a report.
