Samsung Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2017) announced

All the smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung’s custom UI on top.

Finally, after numerous leaks and rumours, Samsung has announced three smartphones under Galaxy J series in Europe. The smartphones are named as Samsung Galaxy J3, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2017). The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will be available for purchase for €279 (approximately Rs 20,250) in June. The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will be priced at €339 (approximately Rs 24,600) and will be available in July while the Galaxy J3 (2017) will cost you €219 (approximately Rs 15,900). The Galaxy J3 (2017) is already available on AT&T, but it’s coming to Europe in August. All the three smartphones will be available in two colour options – Black and Gold.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has a 5.2-inch Super that comes with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU, which is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. An expandable storage slot is there for a micro SD card of up-to 256 GB capacity. The smartphone runs on 7.0 Nougat operating system and also offers a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the home button. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has a 3000 battery.

The Galaxy J5 (2017) has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 and a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture in the front as well. It has connectivity features like dual sim slot, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4.1, GPS. The Galaxy J5 (2017) measures 146.3 x 71.3 x 7.9mm.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) comes with a metal body and a bigger 5.5-inch full HD (1280×1920 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU, which is paired with 3GB RAM. The Galaxy J7 2017 comes with 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is backed by a 3,600 mAh battery.

On the camera front, Galaxy J7 2017 flaunts the same 13-megapixel rear and front camera. It has the same connectivity features as of Galaxy J5 (2017) smartphone. The Galaxy J7 (2017) measures 152.4 × 74.7 × 7.9 mm. Like J5 2017, J7 2017 also features a fingerprint sensor embedded under the physical home button.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM. The Galaxy J3 (2017) has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 aperture for photography.

Besides, running on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, the Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with 16 GB of internal storage with expandable memory of 256GB via card and a removable 2400 mAh battery. For connectivity, the device comes with 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB port. The smartphone has Gyro, Accelerometer, Magnetic and Proximity sensors. The handset measures 140.9 x 70.1 x 8.7 mm and weighs 147 grammes.
