Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy J series smartphone in Philippines, which is named as Samsung Galaxy J1 mini. The smartphone has been listed on the company’s official Philippines website, but there is no information about its price or availability. The smartphone comes in three colours – White, Black, and Gold.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 mini has a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800p) display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with a 0.75 of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with option to expand the storage up-to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on (version unknown) operating system.

The Galaxy J1 mini sports a 5-megapixel CMOS rear camera and a front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed up by a 1500mAh battery, which claims to offer up-to 8 hours of talk-time on network. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 3G, 4.0, GPS, MicroUSB 2.0, (802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, and Accelerometer. The measures 121.6×63.1×10.8mm and weighs around 120 grams.

Considering the specifications, we expect the Galaxy J1 mini to be a budget smartphone.
