Samsung delays Android 4.2.2 upgrade for Galaxy SIII, Note 2

The software upgrade is having some issues with the TouchWiz interface for which it has been delayed.

Samsung has delayed the release of 4.2.2 upgrade for its Galaxy SIII and the Note 2, according to a report of Sammobile.

As per the report, there were some bugs in the upgrade which are causing performance related issues with the devices.

Samsung has already issued the Android 4.2.2 update for its Galaxy S4, Galaxy SIII and the Galaxy Note 2.

It is likely that the software upgrade be made available in the coming few weeks and as soon as it will be made available users will get a update notification on their devices following which they can download the upgrade right on the device without the need of any PC or software.

To manually check for the upgrade, users can head to the Android settings in the menu if they haven’t already been notified for the upgrade. The update will vary in size depending on country and the carrier as well and the availability also might vary. If the upgrade is not available right now users have to wait for some time for it to be available.
