Reliance Digital Stores to offer Samsung Galaxy S4 from April 27

Reliance Digital Stores will be offering Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones at Rs. 41,500 from tomorrow onwards.

Samsung has formally announced its flagship smartphone – Galaxy S4 – today at an event in Delhi. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available for purchase tomorrow from the network of 139 Reliance Digital Stores across the country. This is the first time when the flagship smartphone will be available for purchase the next day after formal launch.

Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone arrives with the new Nature UX 2 layered on top of 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update. The Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display and offers 441 pixels per inch pixel density. With such a crisp display, Samsung has also implemented the Air Gesture feature that lets the user interact with the phone without touching the display.

Inside the 7.9 mm thick chassis, Samsung has packed an eight-core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5410 mobile with PowerVR SGX 544MP3 graphics chip. Samsung has used 2 RAM and will offer the device in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options. There is a 13 megapixel camera at the back that lets simultaneous HD video recording and image capturing. Other imaging features such as HDR, image stabilization, face and smile detection have been added to the camera app. There is a front facing 2 megapixel camera capable of full HD video recording and performing video calls. Apart from the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and several other sensors, the Galaxy S4 packs 2600 battery to power the hardware.

Samsung will also make the Galaxy S4 available through the official Samsung India eStore online for purchase but the users will have to wait for the delivery. Whereas, Reliance Digital promises the facility to purchase device on the spot from the chain of 139 stores across the country.
