Xiaomi has announced that its recently-launched new Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro will go on sale open sale. The company has revealed that both smartphones will be available for open sales on both online and offline platforms.
As per the brand, both the phones will go on sale starting from August 05, 2019 at 12:00 PM onwards. The phones will be available for purchase from Mi.com and Flipkart. The Redmi K20 series will also be available across all premium offline retail stores across the country.
Meanwhile, the company rolled out a new colour variant of the Redmi K20 Pro in China. Dubbed as Summer Honey White, the variant comes with the white colour option with a gradient finish. Recently, Redmi K20 Pro received a new update with version number 10.3.3.0 bringing Android security patch for June 2019. The update optimises the fingerprint unlock experience as well as it improves the touch performance on Game Turbo.
The Redmi K20 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 27,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at Rs 30,999. The Redmi K20 is available with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage for Rs 21,999 and 6GB RAM + 128GB for Rs 23,999.
Recollecting key specifications, both the smartphones are loaded with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Horizon Display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 600nits brightness, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and DC dimming. The screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Both the phones are loaded with a 4000mAh battery and the company has bundled an 18W fast charger as well. The Redmi K20 Pro also supports 27W Fast charging support. The phones measure 156.7x 74.3x 8.8mm and weigh 191 grams. Both of them supports USB Type C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, VoLTE, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, and Dual nano SIM with dual standby.
