Panasonic India has launched a budget smartphone, Panasonic T33, for Rs 4,490 which will be made available to Indian consumers from the third week of this month.
It sports a 4 Inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. The phone supports 21 Indian regional languages and has an layered design with leatherette back cover. The new smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Processor which runs on Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat) operating system with a support of 4GB internal memory.
The Panasonic T33 has a 3 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. The phone, which comes in pearl white and duke blue colors, has a 1500 mAh battery. It is said to have 512 MB RAM and 32 GB expandable storage slot.
Commenting on the launch, Manish Sharma, managing director, Panasonic India said “The T33 smartphone has been developed and designed to overcome the fundamental problem of language barriers faced across India by giving them an option to choose from various languages to interact, engage, entertain and connect in their preferred language. We are sure that adding support for local language in the device will give an opportunity to our customers to communicate seamlessly.”
