Here is a list of all smartphones and accessories which were launched this week in India

This was one of the dull weeks, we have seen in recent times. Very few devices were launched this week and on top of that most of those were budget devices.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus

This was the most notable launch of this week. Priced at Rs 8,499, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with a 5-inch IPS full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone runs on 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a 2750 mAh battery.

The Vibe K5 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear-camera with an LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor, 16GB of internal storage, 32GB expandable storage slot, Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), 4.1, and a port. The handset measures 142x71x8.2mm and weighs 142 grams. The smartphone comes with Dobly Atmos technology with two speakers on rear panel.

It will be available from Flipkart from 12 noon of March 23. Note that it will be available through open sales and not flash sales which has become the norm these days. You can check its pictures here.

Lava V2s

It was made available via Indiatimes Shopping and Amazon earlier this week for Rs 7,899.

Lava V2s features a 5-inch (1280 x 720) IPS display and is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 and 2GB of RAM. The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes packed with a 2,500 mAh battery.

The Lava V2s comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by upto 32GB via a micro card. The smartphone offers an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone also offers the same 8-megapixel front camera.

For connectivity, the device offers 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ AGPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and a micro USB 2.0 port. The phone measures 141.6 x 70.8 x 8 mm and weighs 129 grams.

Lava V2s is available in Icy White colour.

Lava A52

Lava A52 was also launched this week for Rs 3,599. The Lava A52 comes in two colour variants- Black and Gold.

The Lava A52 features a 4-inch WVGA (800x480p) display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, which is paired with 512 of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1-Lollipop operating system and is backed up by a 1200 mAh battery.

The smartphone comes with 4 GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up-to 32 GB via a micro SD card. The handset sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a front camera. Further, the smartphone offers 3G, Dual SIM, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), micro USB 2.0 port and sensor. The handset measures 123.5x63x10.1 mm.

Amzer Fitzer Ka

US-based mobile accessories company Amzer entered the Indian market earlier this week with its flagship fitness tracker, FitZer Ka, which is exclusively available through Croma retail for Rs 2,999.

FitZer can also sync with the and Android app in real-time via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to view activity, goals, profiles and reminders.

Intex Aqua 4G Strong

Intex 4G Strong was found listed on the company’s website for Rs 4,499 this week. Available in Grey and Champagne Gold colours, the Intex Aqua 4G Strong has a 4-inch display that has 480×800 pixels resolution and it is powered by a 1.0GHz quad-core (Mediatek MT6735M Chipset) processor, which is paired with 768 MB DDR3 RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes packed with a 1700 mAh Li-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 5-6 hours of talk-time and up-to 220-240 hours standby time.

The Intex Aqua 4G Strong comes with 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by upto 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone offers a 2-megapixel rear camera with F2.8 Aperture, 4:3 Aspect Ratio and an LED flash, while a VGA resolution camera is in its front.

For connectivity, the device offers Dual SIM, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS/ AGPS, and a micro USB 2.0 port. The handset measures 125.4 x 64.5 x 10 mm and weighs around 110 grams. It has G-Sensor and comes with pre-loaded apps like Matrabhasha (Summit), FOTA, Intex Service, istore, Intex Store, OLX, Opera mini, App Cloud, 360 Security, Newshunt, and Aladin VAS Apps.

Sony MDR-XB650BT wireless headphone

It comes with a 30mm driver, incorporated bass booster structure and dedicated EXTRA BASS diaphragm. It comes with Bluetooth as well as for wireless connectivity. The Sony MDR-XB650BT claims to offer 30 hours of continuous music playback and it is rechargeable via its USB port. MDR-XB650BT is available in all Sony Center and major electronic stores across India in Black, Blue and Red colours for Rs 7,990.

Gurgaon based, Amosta Solutions launched this tablet at Rs 5,999 which is available from Filpkart.

The Amosta 7Q31 features a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage, with option to expand the storage up-to 64 GB via a micro SD card. The tablet runs on older Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system and is backed up by a 2500 mAh Lithium Polymer battery.

The tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the tablet offers Dual SIM, 3G, Bluetooth, (802.11b/g/n), Micro USB and GPS. The tablet also comes with various pre-loaded apps like Dailyhunt, OLA, Snapdeal, Redbus, Paytm, iScuela and Amazon.

Buyers can also opt for EduOne Series (Amosta 7Q31 with EduOne inside) by opting for annual subscription at Rs 6,999. EduOne (powered by iScuela) enables Audio-Visual educational content for school students from 1st to 10th standard. Student can download one year content and use it offline for whole year.
